HERMAN MILLER VS. MODERNICA DINING CHAIRS

It's been decided that our future dining chairs are these beautiful Eames molded chairs in white because they are timeless and super cool at the same time. Herman Miller is the licensed manufacturer of Eames chairs. A classic Eames chair was made with fiberglass and around the '80s it was switched to eco-friendly polypropylene. Now, the LA based furniture company Modernica bought the original presses and continues to make these chairs in fiberglass. Modernica is cheaper than Herman Miller. Fiberglass has more character than plastic (though I'm not sure how it would look in white). Should the "licensed manufacturer" matter?
