CASTLE HILL INN & GRACE KELLY

Please excuse my hiatus from here, work is taking much of my time but I'm back now and I plan to nurture this little blog again :) Our recent trip to New England was so special, mostly because of Castle Hill Inn in Newport, Rhode Island. We stayed at one of the Harbor Houses - perfectly quaint and romantic. Your backyard (yes, you get one!) overlooks a secluded rocky enclave where Grace Kelly used to visit during her time shooting the film High Society. The staircase you see in the image above was built so she could easily climb back up from her hideaway. It was one of our best little getaway and we can't wait to go back again one day.
